Long’s Drugs was a family owned regional chain of over 500 drug stores, I worked on their account for many years until it was acquired by CVS. With many departments under one roof, Long’s gave us the opportunity to work on quite a variety of projects: television, point-of-sale, displays, flyers, weekly circulars, logo’s, branding, ads, signage, on and on. Thinking back, it's rare to have such a wide variety of projects from one client.
Long's communicated to consumers with almost every kind of media conceivable,
including outdoor. This outoor board carried their positioning message, a neighbor street sign, as well as their tagline.

Like many retail drug stores, Longs had a lot of different departments under one roof.
This is a series of posters done for the Longs Photo department offerings.
With over 500 locations within the region longs created brand television.
This campaign positioned Longs as a 'neighborhood' drug store, unlike the its' national competitors.
Long's Drugs being a California chain, was uniquely positioned to understand and serve the communities where it's stores were located.
